You Ji VHL Series

The vertical lathes in the VHL series feature a horizontal slide capable of reaching very large diameters for turning hard-to-reach surfaces. A short, robust cutting tool can be retained and, most importantly, there is no need to move the workpiece to another machine to complete the machining operation.

The vertical lathes used in aerospace and shipbuilding have become much more sophisticated, and the parts to be produced can vary in size from very small to very large.

It is therefore becoming necessary to use elongated tool holders that compromise machining precision. The horizontal slide on VHL series lathes eliminates this problem.

The slide has a maximum stroke of 350 mm. The VHL series machines are capable of drilling, tapping and reaming operations in addition to turning.

This ability to perform different types of machining offers advantages in terms of flexibility, efficiency and quality.
