Sodick K Series
The K series of micro-drilling machines comprises two models:
the K1C-S model is a visualised manual machine; while the K3HS model is equipped with CNC control, automatic electrode changing device and automatic tube wear control.
These machines are specially designed to perform microholes on hard materials; the ultra-fast execution speed allows a much faster process than conventional methods.
They allow high performance even on materials such as hardened steel or tungsten carbide, using electrodes with diameters from 0.25 mm to 3.0 mm.
The particularly compact configuration allows the user to save space in the production environment.
The use of patented non-combustible dielectric (VITOL) enables a high degree of safety to be achieved in all machining conditions. In the K3HS model, the automatic programming system, LN Assist, is standard and its graphic display simplifies all operations.
LN Assist manages a series of calculations and macro-functions such that operators can easily manage different types of drilling layouts and create complex machining programmes.
