AP250L takes full advantage of the remarkable features of the structure: from the symmetry of the gantry design to the high quality of the Meehanite casting, to the rigidity and thermal stability. Keeping the power supply separate from the working tank prevents the heat generated from adversely affecting the machine’s accuracy. In addition, air and dielectric circulate through the machine structure so that thermal influences are kept under control.
The direct-drive linear motors manufactured by Sodick are vibration-free and feature unparalleled positioning and acceleration accuracy with no backlash. Stability, precision machining and ease of use ensure a high standard of performance that does not decrease over time and minimises maintenance. In addition, the precision of the motors has a 10-year warranty from the date of installation.
