Okuma MILLAC VH Series
The 5-axis horizontal machining centres of the Okuma MILLAC VH series are ideal for machining very complex and heavy parts in a single setup. The machines are perfectly suited to manufacturing aeronautical components and other parts that require demanding processes.
The machine consists of a gantry structure. The axis guides are moved on robust and purposely oversized flat rails, which are characterised by their excellent damping properties and long service life. The working spindle (B-axis) rotates in a range of 150° and can be positioned at 0.001°. In addition, the B-axis can be mechanically locked every 5° using a Hirth gear.
The MILLAC VH series is equipped as standard with a pallet changer system, which can be optionally extended with FMS lines.
