UMATI was founded in 2017 as an initiative aimed at developing an open and standardised interface for data exchange based on OPC-UA (IEC 62541).
This international standard represents the best communication platform for the manufacturing sector. Its open model enables simple, fast and safe integration for interoperability between the different types of machines and connected systems.
UMATI aims to become a standard for connecting machines to existing IT structures, thereby satisfying the needs of suppliers and customers.
Thanks to this partnership, we expect to change the future of manufacturing data exchange.
With a unified interface, we are convinced that the future of communication between machines and systems / people will be much faster, merging proprietary languages of individual numerical control manufacturers in a single layer. This will make it possible to create interconnections more efficiently, quickly and without compatibility constraints.
