The AP250L takes full advantage of the remarkable features of its structure: from the symmetry of its gantry design to the high quality of its Meehanite casting, its rigidity and thermal stability. By keeping the power supply separate from the work bowl, the generated heat is prevented from adversely affecting the machine’s precision. In addition, air recirculation and dielectric temperature monitoring keep thermal variations under control.

Sodick’s direct-drive linear motors are vibration-free and characterised by unrivalled positioning accuracy with no backlash. Stability, machining precision and ease of use guarantee a high standard of performance that does not diminish over time and allows maintenance operations to be kept to a minimum.
